Buffalo’s Bulk Trash Program β What Most Residents Get Wrong
The City of Buffalo runs two bulk trash collection seasons β Spring and Fall. The 2026 Spring schedule begins the week of March 29 in the Fillmore District and runs through June 21 in the North/University District, with each of the nine council districts receiving one designated week.
Between seasons, residents have the Pick & Pay program (call 311, starts at $150), the East Side Transfer Station, and paid junk removal as alternatives. The 2026 Tire Drop-Off days are scheduled for Apr 18, Jun 6, Jul 18, and Sept 12 at 197 Broadway (Broadway Garage), 7 AMβ3 PM, limit 4 tires per household.
